About the Book

Who’s Caring For You?

Every day, nurses experience the good, the bad, the ugly, and the just plain sad. They work hard every day. They don’t get to pick their patients, and that’s actually fine; the job is to care for people: not people of a particular skin shade, a particular ethnic background, a particular religious perspective, or a particular political party. Some days go well, and you leave feeling good. Others are so much worse. However, at the end of every day, nurses go home and then come back the next day and do it all over again. It’s called being a nurse. A nurse is who cares for you.
